There are also things called hair masks that you can make at home to keep your hair healthy. Hair masks are great and do help but do not necessary work as well as you would want them to if the basic needs of your hair are not met.
Tips to Grow Out Your Hair Fast
Diets That Will Make Your Hair Grow Faster
Diets. I know we all hate that word, however in this case it is not as bad as you think. I am not going to tell you that you have to stop eating your favorite foods. A lot of people think that to be healthier they must completely stop eating the unhealthy food that they normally consume. This isn't entirely true. It is much easier and almost as effective to you to not take away from your diet but add to it.
While yes, it is true that the doughnut will not help your hair grow fast but you can still enjoy your doughnut provided that you can also add to your diet Essential fatty acids are really good for strong, healthy, shiny, silky soft hair. Adding a handful of nuts and or seeds like walnuts or sunflower seeds to your diet can help you greatly when it comes to growing your hair faster.
However you should know that cooked nuts and seeds (or roasted) are not nearly as good at giving you the nutrients your hair needs. It is best to eat then raw if you can find them that way. For the record most nuts and seeds unless stated otherwise are cooked.
Another thing you can add you your diet that will help your hair grow fast and be healthier is fresh raw foods. Apples, oranges, cucumbers, tomatoes and other such fruits and veggies are great for giving you vitamins as well as live water. While most people think that water is what yo should drink to stay hydrated, it isn't true. Water actually dehydrates you. Unless of course, it is live water. The water from a bottle or the tap is dead. The water in a fruit or vegetables (applies to raw produce only) is raw.
So how do you get the right amount of live water? The easiest way to manage this is to just squirt some fresh lemon or lime into your water. Doing this makes the entire glass or bottle of water live again, and then it re-hydrates you. This is only true f you buy a lemon or lime and cut it open and use a slice to put in your water, pre-juiced lemon and lime bottles are not raw and will not make your water live.
Drinking at least part part of your daily water raw will keep you hydrated which will help your hair grow faster.
Lifestyle Changes Can Make Hair Grow Faster
That sounds a little strange doesn't it? However it is true, changing certain things in your life style can actually make your hair grow faster. We will start this off by simply noting that drinking alcohol beverages will actually make your hair grow slower because it is unhealthy for your body. However you still can grow your hair long while drinking and or smoking, it will just take longer.
Now lets go on to the next thing you can do to grow your hair faster.
Sleep! Your hair actually grows fastest while you are sleeping. Just like your body heals faster when you are sleeping or children get taller when the are sleeping your hair grows while you are asleep. This means that a proper amount of sleep every night is an important part of growing your hair long.
Different people need different amounts of sleep but as a general rule the average person needs about 8 hours of sleep. Some adults like to sleep less other more. As a general rule teenagers need more sleep then adults. Teenagers commonly sleep for 10-12 hours a day. Teenagers need the more sleep to get the same effect of hair growth that an adult would with less sleep.
Getting exercise everyday can help hair growth for the simple reason that is helps the overall health of your body, therefor making your hair healthier as well.
Another thing that a lot of people do not know is that for a healthy body the body needs vitamin D, which the other real place you can get this vitamin is from sunlight. A lot of things claim that they have vitamin D in them, but anyone who knows vitamins can tell you that you simply cannot have a artificial type of vitamin D that will actually give your body the nutrients it needs. Vitamin D is a great way to not only keep your whole body healthy but to grow your hair much much faster.
Myths About Growing Hair Faster
While in general you should be nice to your hair if you wish for it to grow faster, a lot of the thing that people tell you to do are simply not needed.
One of the most common long hair myths is that you should wrap your hair in cloth before going to bed. While I suppose if you had really long hair, thigh long or longer maybe this could have some truth to it, for the normal mid back long hair you really do not need to do this. Especially if your hair is healthy, using the guidelines written earlier in this article.
Another myth is that you cannot brush your hair when wet. Again if your hair is healthy there is no problem with brushing your hair when wet.
Hair Care: Growing Your Hair Fast By Taking Care Of Your Hair
This isn't all wacky tricks to grow your hair longer! You can get your hair to grow faster by taking care of it.
Remember if you have split ends, get your hair trimmed right away. Split ends are not just unattractive but they can split further up your hair decreasing the health of all of your hair not just the ends.

How To Grow Your Hair Faster... Wait, What About My...
Heat is extremely hard on your hair, even when you are using heat protectant before curling or straightening. There are new types of flat irons that have rotating brushes and such that will harm your hair less if you must use heat on your hair.
However, blow drying your hair, curling your hair, and straightening your hair all are very hard on it making your hair brittle, which means it will break easier, and less likely to grow quickly.
Another bad thing to do to your hair if you are trying to grow it out quickly is to color it. Bleach is hardest on your hair since it kills your hair and strips it of the nutrients. If you want to grow your hair out long whatever you do, do NOT bleach you hair. Coloring your hair another color is also hard on it and I would not recommend it if you are trying to grow your hair out longer fast.
Hair products are another thing you have to be careful with. From your shampoo and conditioner to the hair spray that you may or may not use (not using is better for the health of your hair) I cannot give you a guide of this shampoo is okay to use for your hair and this one isn't. This is because I use an all natural shampoo, and that is it.
I don't use conditioner and because I do everything I can to keep my hair healthy naturally it is soft and shiny. You can do this too by incorporating as many of the grow your hair longer fast tips that I have put in this article.
I cannot talk about the best styling products to sue either, I don't use them. I don't use heat on my hair, I don't style it with anything, and I have never colored or bleached my hair. So i will not say anything but I know that these things are not conducive to growing your hair faster.
